I'd been planning to attend the No Kings day on the 18th, but it turns out my town isn't doing one the same as last time.

There's another event here on the same day that includes a parade, so they're going to march in the parade instead. And I can't manage that.

I'd been planning to paint a bunch of signs to give out at the protest, and had all my time earmarked for that, and now it's not going to happen and I'm kind of flapping at loose ends.

Yeah there's lots of other stuff I can or should be doing instead, and eventually some of that will slot into the space left behind. But there's still this awkward uncomfortable feeling of having scheduled myself for A Task and now that task isn't going to happen.

I have decided though, that even if I'm not painting signs, I'll still do other painting. Fun painting. Because painting these signs has been reminding me how good it feels to just paint. To put physical paint down onto paper.
I'm thinking I'll do black and white geometric or striped designs? I'll have to go buy more black and white paint.

Anyhow, still planning to do the write ups for the Build and Seek round 3 very soon.
I've started on my round 4 build already. This round we're all sharing a single theme of "garden" instead of doing separate themes. We want to more directly compare how we do things differently.
